Sizing differences

I ordered this jumpsuit about a year ago in the tan/brown color, and XS fit me perfectly in the length, which I was thrilled about since it’s hard to find things for the short girlies. This one I ordered recently in the Green color is the same size, but the length is definitely longer which is so odd and disappointing. I couldn’t return unfortunately so considering either getting it hemmed or just hoping it shrinks with a few washes.
