Lila Romper, Teal

I purchased this romper in both black and oatmeal. I am a size 12/14, 5 foot 7, and around 175-180 pounds. I purchased the XL and it fits great! I do also think I could fit into one size bigger because the chest area is definitely compressive, but personally I like the way this size fits. It's so comfy and the material is incredibly soft. I've been wearing Imbodhi for about three years now and they are still my favorite! Definitely check the size chart before ordering because the sizing is strange. My typical size in other clothes is a Large, so the fact that I could probably fit into a 1x here is strange. I hope Imbodhi widens their size range to make up for the lack of size representation with the larger sizes since the size chart is so different, but the quality of the clothing is great.

So no joke, I'm basically a walking imbodhi advertisement, and have been for a number of years. I first started buying from them back in 2017 and have been growing my collection ever since.

Back around November, I snagged this romper in burgundy on sale and have been dreaming ever since of when it would be available in other colors, knowing it would immediately become my summer uniform. I was ready for it to come back in black, but was ecstatic to see it oatmeal and teal as well! I immediately purchased it in all three colors.

Now, I do want to emphasize two things. One, the built in undershorts do occasionally ride up on me, but it's infrequent enough that I don't mind. While I realize the undershorts are for modesty (which I do appreciate), the main reason I was keen on them was to avoid chafing--but! Since the outer shorts are sufficiently long, I don't experience chafing, so that's why I don't care as much that the undershorts ride up occasionally.

Two: While the shorts do lay and flow nicely, buyers should know they do lay and flow differently from the jumpsuit, because there is a center seam on the romper. Sometimes I find this looks a bit odd when I stand with my legs together, but because the fabric is flowy and loose, I again don't really mind it. Clearly, as you can see from above, these issues are not enough to detract a star from my rating, but I mention them because they were two things that stood out to me.
